Deana Carter's New Album Features Familiar Faces
Deanna Carter will release her new album, The Chain, on October 9th on Vanguard Records. It's her second album for the label.
Duet partners include John Anderson ("Swingin'"), Jessi Colter ("I'm Not Lisa"), Shooter Jennings ("Good Hearted Woman"), George Jones (on a classic re-titled as "He Thinks I Still Care"), Kris Kristofferson ("Help Me Make It Through the Night"), Willie Nelson ("On the Road Again") and Dolly Parton ("Love Is Like a Butterfly").
Deanna Carter's first album was a multi-platinum success that spawned hit singles like "Strawberry Wine" and "Count Me In". The singer has failed to repeat the success since her 1997 album, and has not been in radio's top 20 since 2002.
