Sarah Buxton Receives First Ever CMA Nomination
Sarah Buxton couldn't have received a more welcome call than the one she got this morning telling her that she had received her first ever CMA nomination. As one of the writers on "Stupid Boy," recorded by Keith Urban, Buxton earned a nomination for CMA Song of the Year.
"I was already having a great day when I got the phone call from my manager that 'Stupid Boy' was nominated" exclaimed Sarah. "Me, [and co-writers] Dave and Deanna were excited to have Keith record the song and now this -- it's over the top! I couldn't be happier!"
Buxton joins co-writers Dave Berg and Deanna Bryant as nominees for "Stupid Boy" for CMA Song of the Year.
The CMA Awards will broadcast live from the Sommet Center in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday, November 7 on the ABC Television Network.
