"Everything Is Fine" For Josh Turner
Josh Turner's next CD will be called "Everything Is Fine." The 12-track set will be the follow-up to his double-platinum disc "Your Man." Turner wrote or co-wrote seven of the tunes, including his fastest rising single to date, "Firecracker."He had the opportunity to write two of the songs with one of his heroes, John Anderson. There are also two duets on the disc -- Trisha Yearwood joins him for "Another Try" and R&B singer Anthony Hamilton is featured on "Nowhere Fast."
"Growing up, traditional country music was always where my heart was at because those songs were speaking about the life that I was living in rural South Carolina," says Turner. "The music was all about love and work and life and just the everyday stuff that people go through."
The album is scheduled to be released on October 30th. Turner will likely play a tune from the collection when he officially become the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry. His induction is set for Saturday.
