Joe Nichols will help the "Tonight Show With Jay Leno" ring in the new year when he performs his brand new single, "It Ain't No Crime," Jan. 3. This is the second single from his latest album, Real Things. "The Tonight Show" goes back into live production the night before Nichols's performance due to the ongoing writers's strike.

"I can't think of a better way for me to kick off the new year than being on the same stage as Jay Leno," Nichols said. "And to be able to do the show in its first week back of live production just adds to the excitement. The band and I are going to go in and add as much as we can to the high energy level we know the show is going to have."

Nichols has been in rehabilitation since September for undisclosed issues.
