Today Faith Hill released a statement clarifying her plans for 2008. Rumors have been circulating the Internet regarding a possible duet album between Hill and husband Tim McGraw.

"Tim and I have always talked about making an album together, but at this time there are no plans for one this year," Hill said. "We're both working on our own projects, me on my first Christmas record and perhaps a few other surprises for [this year]..."

Hill has been working on her Christmas record for several years. Representatives from Hill's label confirmed late last year that a Christmas record was in the works for 2008. She is not expected to release a new studio album this year, although she has stated she has begun preparations for one.
