Carrie Underwood will return to NBC's Saturday Night Live this week as the improv-show returns for the first time since the writer's strike crippled the show. Tina Fey will host.

Underwood last apppeared on SNL alongside Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning. She performed her current single "Wasted" and smash hit "Before He Cheats." It is unknown what Underwood will be performing.

Carnival Ride, the latest studio album for the former "American Idol," has sold over two million copies. Underwood's current single, "All-American Girl," is in Billboard's top 10 on country radio this week.
