The excitement and overwhelming demand from fans for tickets to Carrie Underwood's headline tour, the "Carnival Ride Tour," is no surprise. As one of the hottest country tours on the road this year, additional dates have been added through December. Shows beginning September 23 will feature special guest Little Big Town.

Nearly 600,000 fans have been a part of the "Carnival Ride Tour" audience to date. Underwood will hit 51 cities in the U.S. and Canada this fall, in addition to her wrapping the current leg with opening act Jason Michael Carroll ending June 24. She will also play a select number of fairs and festivals this summer.

Underwood was recently inducted as the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry and named Top Female Vocalist at the 2008 Academy of Country Music Awards for the second consecutive time.
