A letter today was posted from Shania Twain addressing her divorce from her estranged husband-producer Muttt Lange. The letter, posted on her official fanclub and website, quotes Twain as saying she "need some time to heal this broken heart need some time to heal this broken heart."

"I wanted you all to know that I could not be getting through this without you," said Twain about her fans. "Your letters, emails and words of encouragement give me strength. Your overwhelming support reminds me to smile, no matter how deep the pain and to always be grateful for all the beautiful blessings in my life."

Twain reassures fans that she "will be back and hopefully stronger than ever" and says that music has been her therapy through her personal struggle. "I look forward to sharing it with all of you as I begin this new journey," said the singer.
