A re-release holiday in store for Strait

The King of Country will re-release his Fresh Cut Christmas this fall via MCA Nashville. The album was originally released exclusively by Hallmark Stores in the winter of 2006. The album went platinum.

UMG Nashville and George Strait held onto the rights for the album, and after the contract with Hallmark expired, have decided to release the album to the wholesale public. The tracklist will follow the original release, with cuts like "We ThreeKings," "Deck the Halls," and "We Wish You A Merry Christmas." New tracks are also expected on the release.

No date was given for the release.
