Kenny Chesney is getting ready to release his first new music in over a year with the calypso-leaning "Everybody Wants To Go To Heaven." The Sunday August 10th release date may be unusual, but it follows the song's thematics.

"I think, you know, everything in that song is everything we all think," Chesney says. "It's one of those songs that says I'm not only not ready, I've got a little but more fun to have... and I think that's a great way to live."

Chesney is putting final touches on an album he's calling "more personal than anything I've done yet."

Look for Chesney to kick off his XM No Shoes Radio channel at noon, July 26th, with a live from the parking lot broadcast from Boston's Gillette Stadium, which Chesney sold out in less than 15 minutes.
