Faith Hill might just be as busy as Santa Claus come this fall as she promotes her first Christmas album Joy To The World. The set hits stores on September 16.

The album features new versions of ten traditional and modern classics, complete with horns, strings, woodwinds, percussion and chorales, much like the big-band orchestras of the '40s and '50s. Also spotlighted is a new song, "A Baby Changes Everything," which will go to radio to promote the album.

Hill will do the promotional rounds, making major television appearances and appearing in print ads. The exact schedule has not yet been finalized.

Also part of the promotional package for Joy will be the "Faith Hill Christmas" special to air on XM Radio's holiday channels as well as on other appropriate music channels, including an
"Artist Confidential" on a dedicated online channel for 30 days.

The singer will also record a PBS "Soundstage" special, complete with a 40-piece orchestra and full band, which will broadcast during the holiday season.

Included on Joy To the World are classics such as "The Little Drummer Boy," "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town," and "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing!"
