Randy Travis storms the country charts at No. 3, making the album release his highest selling first week ever and his first top five release in his career, since Nielsen Soundscan started reporting. Travis' first country album in eight years, Around the Bend, was released by Warner Bros. Records on July 15.

Randy was in New York City, last week, in support of his new release and appeared on several national television shows including: "The Late Show with David Letterman," "Good Morning America," "Regis & Kelly," "The Today Show" and "Entertainment Tonight."

With over 23 years on the charts, Randy Travis is one of the top ten selling solo country artists of all time. Having sold over 21 million albums, he has 22 #1 hits, six Grammy Awards, five Country Music Association Awards, nine Academy of Country Music Awards and ten American Music Awards to his name.
